Georgia on July 24, 1965. In 1982, he successfully graduated from 19th Secondary School of Kutaisi. In 1977 in Kutaisi, under the leadership of an excellent and very talented woman, Eter Philipashvili was established the folk ensemble “Saunje”; Ivane was the soloist of this ensemble since its foundation. In 1982-1986, Ivane was the soloist singer at the State Ensemble of Georgian Folk Song and Dance of Kutaisi, whose artistic director was Mr. Jemal Chkuaseli. During 1986 to 2021, he has been the soloist singer of the State Academic Song and Dance Ensemble "Erisioni". Besides the stage, Georgian people also know Ivane from TV screens. He has participated in several Georgian feature and documentary films, TV series, as well as commercials advertisements. In addition, he has released recordings of Georgian folk songs performed by him as a CD. In 2000, Ivane Chkhaidze, together with his wife Eka Chkuaseli, established the children's choreographic studio "Laprebi". Ivane is the director of the ensemble “Laprebi”. Ivane was awarded with the Order of Merit for his contribution to art, in 2002. Many important projects created and implemented in the Ensemble "Erisioni" are linked with Ivane Chkhaidze. Since 2022 he has been the Projects and Events Manager at the ensemble "Erisioni". Since 2025 until now, appointed Director of the Ensemble "Erisioni".
