In 1982-1983, Eka Chkuaseli danced in the choreographic ensemble "Gorda" at the Tbilisi Agricultural Institute, under the direction of Besik Svanidze. In 1984-1986, she continued to dance in the Kutaisi State Song and Dance Ensemble. (Artistic Director - Jemal Chkuaseli, Chief Choreographer - Enver Gujabidze). In 1987-2009, she was an actress-dancer and soloist of the Georgian State Honored Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance "Erisioni". From 1999 to 2016, she was the ensemble's choreographer-repetitor. Eka Chkuaseli spends most of her time at "Erisioni" and works selflessly for the ensemble's primacy and success. Since 1996, she has been the artistic director of the children's choreographic school-studio "Laprebi" at the ensemble "Erisioni". In 2002, she was awarded the Order of Honor for her contribution to art. Since 2016, Eka Chkuaseli has been the main choreographer of "Erisioni".
